● After Breakfast/checkout we start Tour inside a well-known 140-year-old Washermen’s Colony in an Open-air Laundromat localy called Mahalaxmi Dhobi Ghat and the biggest human-powered washing machine. You might just spot your own Hotel clothes here. Next we visit Mani Bhawan that was the political activity headquarters for father of India ‘Mahatma Gandhi’. We reach Churchgate Railway Station and witness a traditional yet unique Lunchbox Delivery System of Dabbawala exclusive to Mumbai city, which started in 1890. Afterwards, we take you to the Mumbai Harbor waterfront located bold arch Gateway of India that was built to welcome ‘King George V’ and ‘Queen Mary’ into India. Here we enjoy a photo-stop outside the popular Taj Mahal Palace Hotel and then explore the wealth of colonial era buildings present around, including Bombay High Court, Bombay University and Prince of Wales Museum that showcase a world-class collection of ancient artifacts. Later we visit UNESCO world heritage site Victoria Terminus Train Station built in 1888 showcasing finest Victorian-Gothic architecture and famed location for film ‘Slumdog Millionaire’. Our tour ends at the famed bazaar of British Bombay called Crawford Market operating since 1869 as the oldest flea market in the world. If time permits we take a stroll at Chowpatty Beach area to enjoy the sunset and return to Hotel via a drive past the popular Marine Drive that illuminates at night and resembles a Queens Necklace when viewed from above.

Day 20
Mumbai (Bombay) → Delhi

● Flight to Delhi with major airline. Today morning after breakfast / check out you will be met and transferred you to Mumbai Airport for flight to Delhi. Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, You will be met and transferred to your Hotel for Check-in with welcome briefing. Our travel manager will then outline your wonderful itinerary ahead. Day 21
Delhi

● After Breakfast/Checkout you will be met by our expert Delhi Guide and our company Chauffeur, who will take you on a journey thru Old Delhi, founded as Shahjahanabad in 1639 as the capital of the great Mughal Empire. Our first stop will be old walled-city of Delhi. We will visit the marvellous red-sandstoned Jama Masjid Mosque built by Mughal emperor and maker of taj mahal – Shah Jahan in 1644 AD showcasing finest indo-islamic architectures. Afterwards, we hop-on a traditional Rickshaw Ride tour exploring real life, tangy flavours and buzz of old city thru maze-like streets of the iconic wholesale bazaar Chandni Chowk and asia’s largest spice trading markets Khari Baoli. Our ride ends with a photo-stop outside the imperial residence of Mughal empire and unesco heritage site The Red Fort, built in 1638 and rumoured to have the decapitated bodies of prisoners built into its foundations for luck. Next stop is at Raj Ghat, the memorial dedicated to father of India – Mahatma Gandhi. Later you will be taken tour of New Delhi. We will arrive at the Lutyens city called New Delhi, designed by British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens and set-up in 1931 by viceroy of India Lord Irwin as a political hub. This colonial city with its European influences was a power symbol of the British Empire. We will explore fine works of Sir Edwin Lutyen, that later became the fabric and features of modern India. We cover New Delhi’s most imposing sites such as Gandhi Smriti, the remembrance home – museum of Mahatma Gandhi; here on 30th Jan 1948 the father of India was assassinated. Ceremonial boulevard Raj Path designed by Lutyens in 1921 taking similarities from the Champs Elysee of France. Here we explore princely State Houses and architectures of North – South Block incl India Gate, a 42m-high stone memorial arch pays tribute to 70,000 soldiers of British Indian Army who died in the first world war. Presidents estate Rashtrapati Bhawan, former home to the British viceroy and today the largest residence of any head of state in the world. The House of Parliament, designed by Sir Herbert Baker in 1912 to construct a new administrative capital of British India. We will also cover the sacred Gurudwara Bangla Sahib that is one of the most prominent Sikh houses of worship in Delhi. Here we will experience a traditional Sikh Kitchen and its Langar Ceremony, where sacred meals are served regardless of caste, creed or religion. We will witness or if preferred we participate in the cooking ceremony to feed over 10,000 people a day. Imagine massive cooking pots stirred by strong-armed men with spoons the length of oars.

Day 22
 Jaipur

● 5* Star Super Luxury Train Trip of India – The Maharajas Express – THE INDIAN PANORAMA Start station DELHI / End station DELHI (7 Days /6 Nights) (Delhi – Jaipur – Ranthambore and Fatehpur Sikri – Agra – Orchha and Khajuraho – Varanasi – Delhi) Today you will be transferred to Delhi Train Station to catch Maharaja Express Train We aboard the Maharajas Express Luxury Train at New Delhi’s Safdarjung Railway Station. Brunch onboard Dinner at an exclusive venue at Jaipur Overnight at Jaipur on Luxury Train The Maharajas Express.

Day 23
 Jaipur

●  The Pink City of Jaipur After onboard breakfast, visit Amber Fort. Also referred to as the Amber Palace, the fort is located on a hill in Amer, Rajasthan. Just eleven kilometers from the city of Jaipur, the Amber fort is a major tourist attraction. Built by Raja Man Singh, the fort, which is also spelt as Amer fort, is a scenic marvel. It stands on top of an easily scalable mountain, which is situated right next to the beautiful Maota Lake. The fort’s majestic appearance and its geographical advantages make it a special place to visit. The fort presents a fascinating blend of Hindu and Muslim architecture. It is built using red sandstone and white marble. The palace complex of the Amber fort has very attractive apartments. This complex was built by Raja Man Singh, Mirza Raja Jai Singh and Sawai Jai Singh over a period of about two centuries. This palace complex was used as the main residence of the Rajput Maharajas for a long period of time. Amber fort is associated with rich history which involves treachery and bloodshed. Return to train for lunch. Later evening at leisure. Onboard dinner. Evening train proceeds to Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary.

Day 24
Fatehpur Sikri

● Ranthambore Tiger Sanctuary (enroute tour- Mughal Empire city of Fatehpur Sikri) Early morning Safari at Ranthambore National Park. 1 x Safari Rides for sunrise incl. your Open Jeep Safari with Naturalist (shared). Tiger safaris traditionally take place at dawn and dusk when the big cats are on the move, hunting. In the morning, after tea or coffee and biscuits, you depart on your first tiger safari of the day. On your return, take breakfast and a few hours of leisure walking the grounds, or napping. In the late afternoon embark on a second safari to catch the best time of the evening to view tigers and photograph the park. Your naturalist will speculate where you can likely see the tigers emerge from the forest. Enjoy a rich diversity of fauna and flora, incl migratory birds. Train proceeds to Fatehpur Sikri. Afternoon visit to the deserted Miughal Empire city of Fatehpur Sikri. Welcome to Fatehpur Sikri. This magnificent fortified ancient city, 40km west of Agra, was the short-lived capital of the Mughal empire between 1572 and 1585, during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Earlier, Akbar had visited the village of Sikri to consult the Sufi saint Shaikh Salim Chishti, who predicted the birth of an heir to the Mughal throne. When the prophecy came true, Akbar built his new capital here, including a stunning mosque, still in use today, and three palaces, one for each of his favourite wives – one a Hindu, one a Muslim and one a Christian (though Hindu villagers in Sikri dispute these claims). The city was an Indo-Islamic masterpiece, but erected in an area that supposedly suffered from water shortages and so was abandoned shortly after Akbar’s death. All meals onboard.

Day 25
Agra

● Taj Mahal Tour of Agra Morning visit to Taj Mahal followed by breakfast at an exclusive venue. Lunch onboard. A Jewel of Muslim Art in India built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan for his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal who died giving birth to their 14th child, today renowned as the best wonder of the world. In 1631 construction began with 20,000 masters from India and Central Asia. Specialists were brought in from as far away as Europe to produce the exquisite marble screens and Pietra Dura inlay work using precious stones. Afternoon visit to Agra Fort. Emperor Akbar constructed the fortress along banks of the Yamuna River in 1565 and grandson Shah Jahan, who used his favourite building material – White Marble, made further additions. Built primarily as a defense structure, that transformed into a Palace by Shah Jahan, that later became his gilded prison after his son Aurangzeb seized power in 1658. The dogleg design is unique aspect, meant to confuse attackers who made it past the first defense of crocodile-infested moat. Dinner onboard as train proceeds to Orchha.

Day 26
Khajuraho

● UNESCO Ancient Temple Towns of Orchha & Khajuraho Early morning visit Orchha. Return to train as train proceeds to Khajuraho. Visit the Khajuraho temples in the afternoon. Dating back to 10th century and housing worlds finest Heritage Temples, Khajuraho is swathed with stunning sculptures showcasing Nagara style of architecture including the infamous erotic artwork relating to Hindu’s book of love Kamasutra. These temples were built by the rulers of the Great Chandela Dynasty and offers a blend of Hindu, Buddhist and Jain religions. All meals onboard. Train proceeds to Varanasi.

Day 27
Varanasi

●  The Ganges City of Varanasi Breakfast and lunch onboard. Deboard at Varanasi to visit a Silk Weaving Center. Later we visit buried Buddhist city of Sarnath. Sarnath, the world-famous Buddhist site, is situated about 10 km (6 miles) northeast of Varanasi city. This was the place where the Buddha delivered his first sermon in the Deer Park in 528 B.C that is also known as Dhamma Chakra Pravartan, meaning “The Wheel of Law turns”. Afterwards enjoy Boat Ride on the Ganges to witness evening Sunset Ceremony Aarti, a Sanskrit prayer performed to worship The Ganges River by several priests, accompanied by bells, drums, cymbals and flower petals. Dinner at an exclusive venue. Train proceeds to Delhi.

Day 28
Delhi

● Breakfast onboard. Journey ends in Delhi. Upon arrival in Delhi you will be met and transferred to Delhi Airport for onward flight back to the UK (Overnight)
