Day 1
United Kingdom → Xian International Airport

● Fly UK to Xian (Overnight)

Day 2
Xian

● Arrive in Xian to begin Your 5nt W&W Tour. On arrival into Xian airport, you will be met by an English-speaking assistant and transferred to your hotel for check-in. Dinner will be served at your hotel this evening. (D)

Day 3
Xian

● This morning, depart the hotel with your guide and come face to face with the Terracotta Warriors, built to protect Emperor Qin in the afterlife. Next, pay a visit to the Xian Arts and Ceramics Exhibition Centre where you can learn how these magnificent warriors were created.

This afternoon, take a leisurely stroll on the beautifully preserved 14th century ancient city walls that enclose Xian’s old town before dining on a feast of Shui Jiao Dumplings, followed by a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing. (B,L,D)

Day 4
Xian – Beijing

● After breakfast, travel by high-speed bullet train to Beijing, China’s vibrant capital city. Upon arrival,

Beijing

● Today, be met by an English-speaking guide and take a walk through Tiananmen Square and into the sprawling magnificence of the Forbidden City, the former residence of the Ming and Qing emperors.

Entering through the Gate of Supreme Harmony, you will find a complex full of imperial riches. After lunch, take a wander through the grounds of the Summer Palace, the largest and most well-preserved of all the imperial palace gardens and the former holiday retreat of the Qing emperors.

This evening, dine on a delicious Peking Duck meal, a former favourite of the Qing emperors. (B,L,D)

Beijing

● This morning, head out of Beijing with an English-speaking guide to the Great Wall of China, one of the seven Wonders of the modern world. Receive a brief introduction on the history of the wall before having the opportunity to take a walk on this world-famous structure at the Juyongguan section. Next, visit a jade museum where you can purchase intricate pieces of this gem before heading to the Sacred Way and Ming Tombs, the final resting place of 13 of the Ming emperors. This evening, you will experience a thrilling acrobatic show. (B,L,D)

Beijing → Hong Kong
